Hey everybody, I’m Trish from foldfactory, and this is your 60-second Super-cool Fold of the Week. Thanks for watching. This week’s Super-cool Fold is from my good friend Michelle Welch at Momentum Media in Baltimore. This is a very cool invitation that she designed for Sister Circle, and Sister Circle is an organization that supports long-term mentorships for at-risk girls and they’re celebrating 15 years, putting out the event.
So, they needed a very special invitation. So, you’re going to love this, this is a T-Cross with a Layered Die. So, the cover has a lot of dimension in it because there are die-cuts that are layered on top of each other.
I think you’re really going to like how this works. So, it says, ‘It started with a 15-minute conversation with the school principal, and grew to the first 15 girls and mentors who had a common goal: a brighter future.’ And, it folds down. ‘And now, we are celebrating 15 years of changing lives through mentoring.’ And then, it goes up like this, so it creates a T-shape, that’s why it’s the T-Cross. So, you see it’s the large circle, smaller circle, smallest circle, and they layer together perfectly to create that depth. So, they did about 2500 of these. These are die, score, hand fold.
These are printed out in HP Indigo 10000 digital press. Paper is 80-pound uncoated cover. It’s just so clever and well-designed. I love it. I hope you did too. That’s your 60-second Super-cool Fold of the Week, T-Cross Invitation with Layered Die. Forward this to your friends and colleagues, keep the dialogue going. And viewers, please send me your folds. If I use them, I’ll send you free stuff. Visit foldfactory.com for folded samples, dielines and print. And remember, think finishing at the beginning. I’ll see you next week. Bye.
