Conversations – Aviv Ratzman · CMO...

Ten years ago, Highcon was founded. When the company was founded, it was among the very first companies who believed in the idea of doing digital finishing using lasers - and the very first using 3D print to create creases. Highcon has taken off and is today considered one of the leading companies when it comes to digital finishing - and of course, the use of lasers. The Highcon family of products have, of course, since then developed, and rather than ONLY showcase fine, almost, out couture Highcon has moved to be an industrial workhorse. Founder Aviv Ratzman in this conversation talk with editor Morten B. Reitoft about the past, the present, and unfortunately less of the future. However, with drupa around the corner, who knows, maybe there are new things in the pipeline. Great conversations and important as part of our executive documentation series.

Yoshihiro Oe is the General Manager for Horizon GmbH. Horizon is a well-known vendor of binding equipment widely used globally. In Quickborn, just outside Hamburg in the Northern part of Germany, Horizon has built a nice showroom named Horizon Academy. With local employees referencing directly to GmbH the Horizon works to get a broader grip on the market. The strategy seems to be successful. Excellence in Management Makes the Diffe...

The Federation of Swedish Printers - Grafiska Företagen, has updated a report that in our opinion, is a valuable tool to understand the printing industry. Based on surveys among 2.000 companies over seven years, and comprehensive analysis work from Bisnode turned out a figure where you could easily see who in the printing industry makes money. Now, this report has been updated, and there are differences from the first one. Where Large Format was one of the most profitable segments, and even though Large Format is still a precious segment, the trends are unfortunately developing in the wrong direction. Enjoy the conversation editor Morten Reitoft has with CEO Ravindra Parasnis.

Richard Askam The Environment · The Rich...

This is the 5th episode from Richard Askam's 'hand' and this is particularly interesting for many reasons. It's even interesting for reasons we couldn't predict. One of the most important subjects of the time is the environment. EU couldn't reach an agreement for binding goals in 2050. The US will not ratify the Paris treaty - and at the same time, global warming seems to be more and more evident. Storms, melting the ice, of course, seems distant in relation to your favorite print film channel. However, Richard Askam speculates over The Environment and what drives the discussion. A VERY good discussion and of course, you should participate in it!

Cloudprinter.com enables their customers to integrate print-services into their IT which in return enables them to deliver in 140+ countries. The "secret" is the set of API's offered by cloudprinter.com that route the jobs to the printer able to deliver where the product is needed. cloudprinter integrates directly into the printer's workflow and therefore is an advantage for both buyers and sellers. But listen to this interview yourself and get much wiser. As usual, please watch, like, and share!

CEO Slava Apel from Amazing Print Tech is known for many roles in the printing industry and in this film, you will get an idea about his doings - and there is a lot. We met him at Print®18 in Chicago where he had at least two roles. One role was as the exhibitor of his award-winning software company Amazing Print Tech, and second as a speaker at one of the educational tracks. Slava Apel is an author, a speaker, a business developer, a consultant, and a true entrepreneur in the best meaning, and when you listen to his doings, you can't avoid being impressed. The list of things that he manages to accomplish is amazing. Visiting multiple printing companies. Writing several books.
