At the recent Gulf Print & Pack 2015 Xerox presented the CP1000. Or to be more precise re-launched the CP1000 with the option to use Gold or Silver toner. For Xerox the metallic toner is a first and as you can see from the samples, the gold and silver really adds a nice touch to the print.

This is really the first machine that Xerox has brought to market that addresses the requirement that customers have for metallic printing in the digital space and we are confident and excited that our customers will react positively to it.

We’ve exhibited with Gulf Print and Pack several times in the past few years. It’s the pre-eminent show for this industry in the Middle East and it’s important that as the industry leader we participate in this show, we engage with our customers at this show and we make a declaration as to what we believe is happening in the industry, what the future of the industry is and show off some of our new products and services for our customers.

We have a new star here that we’re showing in The Middle East for the first time what actually is an old-star and a bit of a refresh and a re-launch here in the Middle East. The CP1000 which we have originally launched in 2010, which has been a hugely popular product for us and it has really helped us to solidify our market share leadership in the high-end of the production color market. And what we have here is a bit of a refresh for this product, we listen to our customers, we’ve heard what they told us about what they’d like to see with this product around new feature development and we’re launching here today in the Middle East the new feature of metallic gold and metallic silver inks to occupy the 5000 that previously our customers had only had access to a clear drying – now our customers have access to a metallic gold and metallic silver to expand the application opportunities for them on behalf of their customers. The market seems to be really excited about what we are doing here. I think our existing customers of CP1000 are really thrilled about the fact that we continue to develop this technology platform. They see that we are not resting on our laurels; they see that we see this platform as a platform that we can develop for the future and that our customers – both existing customers of CP1000 and potential new customers of CP1000 are really excited about this new feature set. Achieving silver and gold has been a traditional challenge for digital print and so on most digital print; nearly all digital print engines that print 4-color CMYK, metallics have been an ongoing challenge. This is really the first machine that Xerox has brought to market that addresses the requirement the customers have for metallic printing in the digital space and we are confident and excited that our customers will react positively to it.

[insert new name] That opens your first one service package, but the 3-spot colors will come as; you just buy the toner units, the cartridges. You just create a clear layer as if it’s a mask over the top … the one you can also enjoy the rip level, so at rip level we can….

The UAE is a very important market for Xerox; the Middle East in general is a very important market to the corporation. The corporation sees the Middle East as a big growth market for us. We’ve seen significant improvement in our performances across the Middle East over the past few years. We’re actively focused on engaging new channels and improving our coverage models, so we can deliver more Xerox value in terms of our product services and our technology solutions to our customers throughout the years. Any customer, who wants to buy Xerox in the Middle East, should be able to buy Xerox in the Middle East. We’re really, really excited about selling our first CP1000 in the Middle East with the gold and silver enablement package. It’s sold to a customer here in the United Arab Emirates. So, the first CP1000 with the feature set that includes the metallic gold and the metallic silver ink will be installed in the UAE in the coming month.
