Worse mentioning when reporting from PRINTING United is, of course, the overwhelming number of attendees. Also worth mentioning is the many awards given to products and technologies. One of the awarded products was Ricoh’s Supervisor/Process Director software, enabling printing companies to monitor their entire production with a click of a button. Adding devices is easily done by entering the device’s IP address, and voila, you are connected. Process Director takes this a step further, as Kevin Wake both explains and shows. With Process Director, the data can be organized into logical groups, so the production now is filtered into data per employee, per production unit, per machine, and per almost everything. Really nice product, and though developed by Ricoh entirely vendor agnostic.
