Introducing Project Peacock Network · PPN · Deborah Corn & Morten B. Reitoft
We are working together with Deborah Corn on a new project called PPN – or the Project Peacock Network. Before going into details about this, let’s turn back time for a second. Project Peacock was founded years ago, and has with the same agenda, used various channels to educate, inspire, and promote print. In short, Peacock is about showing designers, brand-owners, and print-buyers what technology can do, and to some extent, bridge buyers and sellers.
Over the years, thousands of people have been exposed to various print samples and printing technologies. Before COVID, Project Peacock Print Fair traveled through America and Canada hosting educational events – and during the pandemic, Peacock turned into the Project Peacock Platform where vendors and registrants could meet online 365/24/7 – and Platform events presented various topics and speakers. I was so fortunate to present a keynote at the digital publishing event. It was fun, engaging, and interesting to explore the feedback on a platform that isn’t a virtual event, a webinar, or anything like it.
Now it’s 2022, and Deborah and I have been working on something entirely new. We call it Project Peacock Network, PPN. The idea is to invite people from the industry to talk about various topics and then present it as a two-hour, monthly streaming experience. On the first Friday of every month, beginning in March, Deborah will host the streaming format with guests from PSPs, vendors, designers, brand owners, influencers, and more. As we progress with the production, I am excited about this project – and of course, INKISH wanted to be the executive producer of the show and support bringing people together while bringing excitement and a new format to learn and connect to the audience.
The show will be broadcast simultaneously on INKISH, Print Media Centr, our YouTube channels, LinkedIn, and where applicable at noon ET, starting March 4, 2022.

There is nothing more important than using your voice. The vote last year in America was one of the most significant milestones in our history. What matters is that you use your voice. A few weeks ago, I got my first Covid vaccine. It was an emotional experience for me. Life getting back to the next normal. The fact that I could get on a plane again really changes everything. There is nothing like seeing people, meeting people, discovering things when you travel the world. It really is a dichotomy, a velvet devil. And in a lot of ways, that's how I felt about last year. There was some really intimate things about it. Connections with other people. And then there was just the hell of it. One of the most difficult things I found about last year was I don't really have any business coming in. I'm not going anywhere. And what am I going to do? Just give me a second, because you made me think about something else. Many people lost people last year, and I am one of them. We lost my grandma to Covid and it has been really hard. It's been very difficult in a weird way. Tie that to all of the things that died last year. A metaphorical sense. No trade shows last year. A lot of relationships ended because you didn't see people and people ended relationships with companies. The Project Peacock Platform. The entire ecosystem of what everybody needs is in one place. I think it's really important they can get print samples. They can find printers who have that equipment. This is cool. I want to do it. Great. This is who you can do it with.

Increased Productivity using CERM and ESKO ·...
Increased productivity is extremely important - and yes, CERM and ESKO play an enormous role with the Sicialian label producer Auroflex. Still, the business is developed around a quality and passion for supporting the Sicilian wine, food, and luxury products industry. But Auroflex does many things that are a bit out of the standard, for example, an annual design competition, where designers are invited to challenge Auroflex - and all the designs are produced to show what's possible - and as Fabio Butera tells INKISH, this develops a close relationship between Auroflex and the designers, that eventually will make some of the most complex and interesting design. Auroflex produces labels in both flexo, digital, and offset. The most important reason for investment in print technology is from Nilpeter - an offset/flexo hybrid machine - by all means, an amazing company, and see how CERM and ESKO are used in planning, pricing, color management, and, of course, inspection - in tightly integrated solutions - merging beauty with efficiency - love it.
