Patty Taquard · Production Manager · Beaed LP
At PRINTING United 2026 in Las Vegas, Morten B. Reitoft meets Patty Tacquard from Beaed at the Agfa booth to talk about a relationship that has developed through several generations of wide-format technology.
Beaed has been an Agfa customer for years, moving from earlier Anapurna and Titan platforms to several Jeti Tauro systems, including the H2500, H3300, and H3300 UHS.
For Patty, the attraction is straightforward: speed, quality, and the production capacity needed to compete for increasingly demanding work.
But the machines have also played a much larger role in the company’s development. Patty explains that without the Agfa equipment, Beaed would not have been able to win and support its largest customer — a relationship that has helped the business double in size over approximately five years.
That makes equipment investment considerably more than specifications.
Patty also speaks openly about an earlier investment that wasn’t the right fit. What mattered was how quickly Agfa responded, worked with Beaed, and helped move the company into the larger production platform it actually needed.
Today she describes that relationship as a partnership rather than a traditional supplier/customer relationship. Beaed provides feedback from production, while Agfa supports the company with technology, service, supplies, and the knowledge accumulated through years of working together.
For Patty, that relationship — combined with an owner willing to listen to what production needs — has made it possible to continue investing as the business grows.
Because sometimes the right press doesn’t simply add capacity.
It gives you the capacity to win entirely new business.
