We are at SuperCORRExpo and meeting up with Jens Christian Christiansen, the CEO of BCM Transtech. At the show, BCM presented a new storage solution helping customers handle rotary dies and printing sleeves/plates in a super automated setup. The company has 25 years of experience and is a leader in its field - and a story on its own based on recognition from a FEFCO award in 1999. For now, enjoy the story from SuperCORRExpo.
BHS is among the largest companies in the corrugating business, and it’s always interesting to get the latest info—and we got the chance to talk to Nils Gottfried. We got the chance, despite being interrupted at the end of the interview, to hear about the jetliner, mono-version, strategy, why printing on the pre-corrugated liners, and why a monochrome version. Enjoy!
Inkjet is by all means on the radar everywhere - and at the Peak Performance Print Experience event in Brussels September 28-29th, 2021 - we got the chance to talk to Stefan Steinle. He is the Sales & Business Development Manager for the new entity Fujifilm Integrated Solutions. So what is it? Well, imagine an inkjet printhead. Place one or more heads in a bar with all the needed electronics, pumps, vacuum, cooler, power - and you now have a print bar that can be up to 2 meters in width. Now, place it almost anywhere you need print - and you have an idea what this is all about. It can be used in mailing applications, offset/web offset solutions to extend with variable data, all managed by Stefan Steinle and his team. Very excited, and well - check for yoursel LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stefan-steinle/
On the second day at the Peak Performance Print Experience event, we got a chance to ask Gareth Ward from Print Business in the UK about his views on the event and the Jet Press 750S. As expected, the answer is not about the technology but more about what the technology can do business-wise - and we liked that answer. But listen for yourself and enjoy the insights from one of the leading media in our industry. LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gareth-ward-792b3312/
Imagine selling millions of greeting cards online. That is exactly what Celebrate Digital Printing does, and Francisco Martinez takes all the decisions. At the Peak Performance Print Experience event in Brussels, his companies name flashed the Revoria PC1120, and just a few months ago, the company also invested in the Jet Press 750. Isabell Stiller from TDG The Document Group in Germany is excited about the color options delivered by the new Revoria PC1120. With the options to print CMYK+ varnish, silver, gold, white, or pink - the machine expands the color-gamut plus using gold and silver to give the customers metallic colors - really cool. As you can hear, Isabell Stiller is excited! LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/isabell-stiller-444313198/
Fujifilm's PR company also visited the Peak Performance Print Experience event, AD Communication - represented by Tom Platt. But what does a PR company do? And can a communications specialist also be passionate about technology? Well, listen to what Tom Platt has to say! LinkedIn Profile.
On September 29th, Fujifilm delivered an excellent presentation of their latest products. The second day focused on Fujifilm Jet Press 750s, and about 50-60 people from the UK, Benelux, and Scandinavia showed up. The agenda was to hear, see, and even touch the new Fujifilm Jet Press 750s. INKISH covered the event with numerous interviews you can find on INKISH.TV. On day two, we took the opportunity to look at many aspects of Fujifilm's graphic offerings as well as the Peak Performance Print demonstrations - so enjoy this really great film - filmed and edited by Jan Majnik, INKISH - of course :-)
The Peak Performance Print Experience event in Brussels was about machines, people, and of course, business. Bernd Rekirsch is a huge dealer representing multiple brands - and in Brussels, he and his company celebrated their new distribution of Fujifilm products in Germany. The Fujifilm event Peak Performance Print Experience was held in Brussels on September 28th and 29th, 2021. It was a great event with many people, really good print samples, and an insight into where Fujifilm sees their technology. Here we speak to Taro Aoki, who is the head of Fujifilm digital press solutions. The new Revoria brand was also demonstrated on the first day, but only to customers in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Portugal - since Revoria is only available here now. The event gave the audience an insight into the technology, like the new Jet Press 750s with faster print speed, still fantastic quality, and a few other great and exciting upgrades. The Peak Performance Print Experience event in Brussels was two one-day events where Fujifilm employees, customers, resellers, and press got an excellent chance to learn, mingle, and of course, do business. Simon Howe is a Digital Printing Solutions Manager with Fujifilm and a background as a PSP giving him a wealth of knowledge to share. But listen for yourself, and remember to enjoy!
