Innovationdays have become a significant event for almost all companies and visitors the event is an overwhelming show of equipment, meetings, people, old friends, and so many inputs, that at least your INKISH team has no problems falling a sleep after busy days - and often followed up by dinner parties, meetings, etc. in the evenings. An amazing day. Today is the opening day for Hunkeler Innovationdays and, at the same time) Frans Hunkelers 81st birthday. With more than 3,000 attendees busy checking samples and technology and catching up with people they haven't seen for ages, this is the frame of what we all know as the must-attend show - Hunkeler Innovationdays. Bernd Sauter is the CEO of the German company KAMA located in Dresden, Germany. The company has a LONG history going back to 1894 - and since the early 1900s, KAMA has developed finishing and embellishment equipment. In this interview with CEO Bernd Sauter, who has a background in Müller Martini, he explains how important software is to support short runs and fast setup times. He also explains how KAMA makes parts exchangeable to maximize a KAMA machine's productivity from folding, cuttings, foilings,and more - in both Commercial and Packaging. Our last day in Lucerne - and still capturing happy faces wherever we go.
